Dennis: Are we going overboard with marriage proposals?

A Yankees fan accidentally drop an engagement ring while proposing to his girlfriend and the entire thing was caught on camera. While I felt a bit of compassion for him, a part of me was glad he dropped it.

Marriage proposals are meant to be a private moment between two partners who are in love. If you ask me, these gigantic proposal productions are more of an attention seeking act to one up the proposal before hand.
