The meeting will come a day after Obama delivers his State of the Union address where he's expected to renew his call for comprehensive immigration reform and a pathway to citizenship for 11 million illegal immigrants. The eight-member Senate group is deep in negotiations trying to complete a bill by next month.

The meeting was confirmed by a Senate aide who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the private deliberations.

The four Democratic senators are Charles Schumer of New York, Dick Durbin of Illinois, Robert Menendez of New Jersey and Michael Bennet of Colorado.
