Dancing Hamster Charged With Disability Fraud

One of the Kia dancing hamsters, made famous in their car commercials, has been charged with ripping off the California workers’ compensation program by dancing while taking disability payments. OK, so the story isn’t as cool as if there had been a real hamster dancing, but the guy in the hamster suit shot at least one of those commercials while claiming to be disabled. He is also alleged to have worked as a backup dancer to several pop stars, including Madonna, while accepting disability payments. He says he was injured when part of a ceiling fell on him while he was dancing, but then continued to perform.
