The father of an 8-month-old girl — whose mother was allegedly high when she rolled over in bed, crushing the girl — said Friday that the child has died.

Police said Lisa Scalia, 31, was found with 34 bags of heroin and 10 Oxycodone pills in her Ventnor home on Sunday, according to the Press of Atlantic City. Infant Olaia Marie was taken to AtlanticCare and later to a Philadelphia hospital, the report said.

Police told the newspaper they also found Scalia with two other prescription medications, but she didn't have prescriptions for any of them.

The baby's father, Marco Mejia, on his Facebook page asked people Thursday to stop "cursing out, using vile words" about Scalia.

"Believe me I am the one who is the angriest towards her and I don't ever want to see her face but I know with time I have to forgive her to move on, so please stop spreading hate using Olaia Marie as the catalyst," he wrote. "My baby needs to be sent up to God with love ... so lets all put our energy into loving Olaia these last days because I know she will feel it ... please please stop the hate on Facebook its infantile ... we need to unite in love... Lisa Marie will answer to GOD!

But on Friday, Mejia wrote that "my baby girl, my heart and soul, my lil miracle baby, has left to be with God."

Olaia was pronounced dead at 8:30 a.m. Friday, he wrote. In an earlier post, he'd called her his "little princess."

"We thank u for all the prayers, love and support I am sure Olaia heard them," Mejia wrote.

He added he has decided to donate Olaia's organs "with the hope that she will bring a miracle to another family."

Scalia is being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $100,000 bail.
