But, the announcement is not likely to prompt other potential GOP candidates to join him.

Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ), and others, seem content to work behind-the-scenes shoring up support and raising money.

Christie was in Florida this weekend, and appeared to take a swipe at another potential rival, Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI), although not by name.

He warned of candidates that change what they say depending on the state they are in.
