A man meeting a potential buyer for an iPad and camera he had posted for sale on Craigslist was stabbed twice by the buyer after the she took the items and ran off, police said.

Naji Love, 20, of Montclair was arrested after checking in to UMDNJ Hostpital with a hand wound.

Love met the unidentified victim from Hopatcong in the parking lot of the TD Bank on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair on Sunday afternoon to complete their transaction. Police say Love took the items and ran off. The seller chased her to the parking lot of the Lackawanna Mall where Love stabbed him in the shoulder and love.

The unidentified victim tells CBS New York he drove himself approximately 26 miles to a Denville hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries and was released.

Montclair Police followed a trail of blood drops leading  away from the mall to a dumpster at an apartment building. Love was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, weapons offenses, and theft. She is being held on $40,000 bail. Police say the items were recovered.

Craigslist advises its buyers and sellers to meet in a public place and to "be especially careful when buying/selling high value items."
