If you are on on-air "radio personality" (another way of saying "DJ"), a good pair of headphones is a "must." When you "crack the mike," you can only hear yourself and the music, with headphones.That being said, it is a shame that the boxes that the headphones come in, aren't as robust as the headphones! You either use the headphone box to protect your "cans" (headphones) til the box falls apart...or you skip the cardboard, and move right to a better "protector."

Recently, Eric Scott said to me: "I thought that I saw your casserole container out there" in reference to the protective container for my headphones. Others around New Jersey 101.5 have made comments ranging from "what a great idea" to something demeaning about "Tupperware."

To which I say: "Hey...it works..."

Its just the right size for my AKG headphones...and I can stuff other things in there, like lots of show notes, and even a comb (should I need to do something about my "headphone hair").
