I have been getting raves from family and friends for this simple bars recipe. It combines two of my favorite things...peanut butter and CHOCOLATE!

It goes without saying, that if you have a peanut allergy, this is not the recipe for you!

Peanut Butter Bars

1/2 C butter (melted)

1/2 C sugar

1/2 C brown sugar

1 egg

1/2 t vanilla

1 C flour

1/2 t baking soda

1/4 t salt

! C oatmeal

Topping: 1&1/2 C chocolate chips

Spread into greased 9x13" pan.

Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes (still shakes).

Upon removing from oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Let stand a few minutes, as the warm bars melts the chips.
