Organizers made the announcement via the event's Facebook page on Tuesday, stating that "unforeseen circumstances" led to the festival's cancellation. According to the statement, organizers said they will "try to find a mutually agreeable date to reschedule the artists should their schedules permit."

The event was scheduled for Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 at Bader Field in Atlantic City.

Ticket-holders have two options for refunds, according to the statement. They can either receive a full refund or a voucher for the Bourbon Room, which is expected to open its doors in November in Atlantic City. The voucher, which also includes a 20 percent discount, will be good toward events through this year and next.

The event, sponsored by Jersey Boyz Production LLC, was expected to feature 40 food trucks and 20 musical acts.
