BERLIN — A man seen on camera with what was believed to be a real gun is facing several charges after police say he pointed the weapon at a group of juveniles.

Christopher Auger, a borough resident, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of possession of an imitation firearm, and one count of possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose for the incident, which was reported on July 10.

Police found the weapon during the investigation, describing it as an imitation firearm that looks like a handgun.

Police said Auger, whose age was not specified, was processed pending a court date at the Camden County Superior Court.
