GLOUCESTER CITY — A Camden County man who was hoarding and sharing images of children being sexually abused was also stockpiling an arsenal of "assault-style" firearms and ammunition in his home, prosecutors said.

George Walker, 34, was arrested last week on child pornography charges, but officials say they expect to charge him with a slew of weapons offenses as well.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit stormed into Walker's home with a warrant about 5:30 a.m. Friday as part of child-porn investigation. Prosecutors say detectives had traced peer-to-peer file-sharing of the images and videos to an IP address linked to Walker's home.

Officials say they found several hard drives and digital media devices containing numerous videos of abused children.

But they also found 81 firearms, including six that authorities described as assault-style, several containers of ammunition and 25 high-capacity magazines.

Walker was being held Friday at Camden County Jail with bail set at $50,000.

It was not clear Saturday whether he had an attorney.
