Cop-Kill Suspect’s Brother Arrested In Threat
The brother of a man on trial in the killing of a Lakewood police officer has been arrested after allegedly threatening to go on a shooting rampage at a high school if the suspect is convicted.
The Asbury Park Press reports Raheem Montgomery, the brother of Jahmell Crockam was arrested Saturday after allegedly threatening to go on a shooting rampage at Lakewood High School if Crockam is convicted.
Crockam is on trial for the murder of Patrolman Christopher Matlosz on Jan. 14, 2011.
Police confiscated a 9mm handgun from Montgomery when he was arrested. He faces charges of making terroristic threats, and weapons offenses, and is being held in the Ocean County Jail on $250,000 bail.
