Congressman Hank Johnson gives an interesting reason for Belmar closure
If you've never seen Congressman Hank Johnson, watch this clip as he may have predicted this weekend's events in Belmar. Congressman Hank Johnson once gave testimony that he believed Guam would tip over. Sadly, this is not a joke. Johnson, who is an elected official, was trying to explain how he believed the country of Guam would tip over if too many people populated the area.
Maybe the congressman thought the same thing about the town of Belmar and warned officials to close the town to incoming traffic to avoid tipping over?
Watch Johnson's testimony below about his fears about Guam and see if you can't imagine Johnson saying something similar about Belmar.
