Comedian Michelle Wolf, who has been named one of Rolling Stone's funniest comics on Twitter, is performing a weekend of shows at the Stress Factory in New Brunswick.

I've heard in talking to some other comics that it's a little more difficult to be a female comic and that it takes a female comic a little more time to get a crowd to warm up to them. But Michelle says it's not so.

Michelle told me that she thinks it is no harder to be a female comic than a male comic, or regardless of your ethnicity as well. "It's hard to be a comic," Wolf stated. As someone who has also started a comedy career, I can attest to comedy not being an easy undertaking.

Check out my full interview with Michelle Wolf in the YouTube clip above. Make sure you go see her this weekend as she performs live at the Stress Factory on Friday and Saturday night.
