The new My.Future technology initiative will be announced Thursday. Comcast says the partnership is valued at tens of millions of dollars in cash and in-kind support over five years. But the company won't release specific figures on the sponsorship.

In Washington, Comcast is announcing a $100,000 grant to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington to fund a renovated technology center for students.

Comcast also renovated four Boys and Girls Clubs in Chicago, Philadelphia and San Francisco to add new technology centers with tablets, digital cameras, music tools and video-editing software.
