In the name of CBS family unity, Stephen Colbert hilariously went after President Trump last night in defense of Face The Nation's John Dickerson. In the same one on one interview in which Donald Trump eventually walked out of because the questions got impossible for him to answer, he earlier attacked Dickerson in one of the most classless displays you'll ever see from a supposed leader.

Advance this video exactly to the 10 minute mark and you'll see Colbert play back a clip of Trump bashing CBS news and bashing Dickerson himself. Trump called CBS news "fake news," and Dickerson's show "Deface The Nation." Colbert went after Trump on his Tuesday night show, unleashing extremely funny insults and one that's gotten him in trouble. Among the jabs...

"I love your presidency. I call it "Disgrace The Nation."

"You attract more skinheads than free Rogaine."

"You're not the POTUS, you're the BLOATUS. The GLUTTON with the BUTTON."

"You talk like a sign language gorilla that got kicked in the head."

Then there was this one, and some are protesting. "The only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin's c**k holster."

It was beeped out of course, but the point was clear. Now #FireColbert is popping up all over. People are claiming this was highly homophobic.

My opinion? Not at all. It was a creative way of saying Trump has been far too close to Putin and carrying that to a comedic extreme. In no way do I feel this was intended as any insult to gays. It was obviously an insult to the inappropriately close relationship and man worship Donald has had for Vladimir, with election interference on the part of the Russian government as a backdrop.

Watch the entire Colbert rant starting exactly at the 10 minute mark of the video and judge for yourself.

Did Colbert go to far? You tell us.
