One man's Halloween display has become a victim of its own popularity.

Police in Clifton had asked Wayne Gangi to hire off-duty traffic police to manage the crowds of people who would come out each October to gawk at the skeletons, bloody brides and fake corpses he displayed in his front yard.

Then they suspended parking in the area and began issuing tickets.

Now, the display's days may be numbered. Gangi tells The Record he plans to take down some of the props this weekend after a town official complained about a dummy hanging over the roadway.

Neighbors have helped Gangi out over the years. He says one woman even gave him her Vera Wang wedding gown so he could splatter it with fake blood.
