JERSEY CITY — Oh, the weather outside isn't so frightful. But the scene in one New Jersey mall was.

Friday evening, last-minute shoppers found themselves confronted with a pre-Christmas brawl, caught on camera and spreading wildly on social media since.

"I just seen a bunch of flying fist and I seen the security guards getting punched and anyone that was in the way getting punched," Larissa L., 37, of Newark told the Jersey Journal this weekend.

Jersey City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill told the Journal the fight involved a group of minors and no one was hurt or arrested.

The fight wasn't exactly in the holiday spirit, but at least this time, no major figure of the holiday was involved.

Back in March, at the very same mall, video captured the Easter Bunny — yes, the Easter Bunny — going at it with an upset father.

“Following their investigation ... Jersey City detectives are charging both the Easter Bunny and the father of the child in the incident from the Newport Centre Mall," Jersey City press secretary Jennifer Morrill wrote in a statement at the time.

That statement referenced a fight between Easter Bunny Kassim Charles, 22 and hopping-mad dad Juan Jimenez-Guerrero, 44, of Bright Street. Both were charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct, authorities said.

The fight began with ugly words from Jimenez-Guerrero — the father of a toddler who slipped off the bunny’s lap on Sunday — authorities previously said. Morrill Jimenez-Guerrero began physically and verbally attacking Charles, who was still wearing the bunny suit, around 5 p.m. Sunday, after his daughter’s picture was taken with the costumed character, authorities said.

A video of the incident shows Charles — wearing his bunny gloves and a blue jacket — coming after the father and then walking off. He can be seen coming back toward the father, removing his furry gloves and throwing a punch before being held down by several other men.

Charles, the bunny, also had a warrant out for “fare hopping,” the Jersey City spokeswoman said.
