Governor Chris Christie''s communications staff celebrate his 51st birthday with a video of highlights from the past year.

The staff tweeted on the Governor's official Twitter account that they took over the account to post the highlight video on his YouTube account.

The video stings together a number of his media appearances, from the spider he killed in his office when his daughter's fourth grade class for a visit to his "slow jam" with Jimmy Fallon to jokes about the infamous blue fleece and his new found friendship with Bruce Springsteen.

Missing from the video are his donut eating appearance on David Letterman and time spent with President Obama after Sandy and a follow up visit last spring.

Christie will spend his birthday at a fundraiser in Jersey City. He will travel to Texas for Republican National Committee fundraisers on Sunday and Monday and will also attend the Dallas Cowboys-Giants season opener at AT+T Stadium (formally Cowboy Stadium).

It means he'll get to cheer publically for the Cowboys since admitting earlier this year they are his favorite team. “I am a Dallas Cowboys fan. I know that that disturbs Eagles fans, Giants fans, Jets fans and probably fans of almost every other team in the NFL,” he said earlier this week during an appearance at the Beach Haven School on their first day of classes after being damaged by Superstorm Sandy.

Next weekend he celebrates wife Mary Pat's 50th birthday with a weekend trip to Florida meaning he will miss Senator Rand Paul's visit to New Jersey to endorse Republican special Senate election candidate Steve Lonegan.
