If Gov. Chris Christie is going to have a chance at the Republican nomination for president, he will have to convince a lot of Republicans, whose minds are already made up.

Polls show that Christie is well-known to most GOP primary voters, but they do not like him.

In fact, 39 percent say they would never vote for him.

Team Christie continues to discount such polls. Instead, they are planning an aggressive campaign in early primary states that will include doing what Christie does best: Town Hall meetings.

The plan is to hold several of those style events in New Hampshire and Iowa.
