The governor will participate in a celebrity softball game Monday at Yankee Stadium against a long list of sports greats.

The fourth annual Bombers Boomer Broadway Softball Classic will feature celebrities facing off against the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team and New York Yankees alumni.

Among them will be former Yankees Charlie Hayes and Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez, hockey Hall-of-Famer Mark Messier, football great Anthony Muñoz, and basketball All-Star Wally Szczerbiak.

Broadway performers also will be competing in a game.

Christie was a star catcher in high school and continues to be a big baseball fan.

He recently joked about wanting to take over as general manager of the Mets.
