The Republican governor will be a guest on NBC's "Today Show" Tuesday morning. The live interview is set to air at 7 a.m.

Christie has had a jam-packed schedule lately, traveling the country to stump for Republican candidates in his role as chair of the Republican Governors Association.

He spent Monday in Florida and Connecticut and will travel to Maryland, Rhode Island and Maine on Tuesday.

Christie last appeared on the "Today Show" a year ago to mark the one-year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy.

He appeared on Fox News Sunday this weekend in his first Sunday show appearance since last November.
