2016 presidential polls show Christie struggling amid GOP contenders
Gov. Chris Christie is focusing his early campaign efforts on New Hampshire and Iowa, but his frequent travels and speeches in those key presidential states have not made much of a difference.
A new Marist poll out today places Christie fourth in both states, with 9 percent in Iowa and 13 percent in New Hampshire.
The news does not get much better from there.
Another key early primary state is South Carolina, where Christie currently ranks seventh.
But, in a constantly shifting field, Christie is in striking distance as he is often separated from the leaders by just a few points.
