Christie pushes national platform
Gov. Chris Christie gave another policy speech on Thursday, this one on higher education.
He says colleges should be more open about their finances or risk losing federal aid.
During the Iowa speech, Christie said that he wants to bar schools that do not open their books and itemize tuition bills from participating in the federal grand and aid programs.
He drew no distinction between public and private schools on that point.
This is Christie's fourth policy speech in recent weeks as he prepares for a potential 2016 presidential run.
