His leadership PAC is cutting checks to Republican groups in key early primary states as he considers a presidential run.

A spokesman said they have committed more than $100,000 to be donated to local party leaders.

Next week, Christie holds two Town Hall meetings in New Hampshire.

He has continued to poll near the bottom of candidates preferred by GOP voters.
