Christie meets southern voters after indictments
Gov. Chris Christie will get his first feel for how the Bridgegate indictments have impacted his presidential hopes when he meets potential supporters in Mississippi and Louisiana today.
It is his first out-of-state travel since the charges were announced against three long-time appointees.
More troubling, perhaps, is a New Jersey poll that shows most people think Christie is lying about what he knows of the scandal.
It will be interesting to see if voters outside of our state feel the same way, especially in New Hampshire, where Christie is scheduled to appear later this week and host a Town Hal.
