Christie makes 13th Iowa visit
It was his first campaign event since his less than stellar trip to the United Kingdom, and Gov. Chris Christie was warmly greeted by Republicans in Iowa.
Christie touted being a conservative governor in a democratic state.
He also highlighted his pension reforms and his leadership ability.
But, all is not well in the Hawkeye State.
Many of the political kingmakers, who tried to recruit him four years ago, have abandoned him, or are not yet committing to him yet.
There continues to be concerns that Bridgegate has irreparably damaged Christie.
