Christie looks to begin new campaign phase
Gov. Chris Christie declares "the summer entertainment season is now over" and kicks off a new phase of his presidential campaign.
Christie has struggled to gain any traction in a very crowded field of GOP candidates that has seen Donald Trump rocket to the top of the pack.
Despite all the time that he has spent in New Hampshire, Christie is still polling seventh there.
He said he would like to hold 100 towns hall meetings in the state, which means he has over 70 to go.
Christie is also hoping for a strong show in the second presidential debate this month.
The debate is scheduled to air on Sept. 16 on CNN.
