Christie jump starts potential 2016 run
If Gov. Chris Christie's campaign for president fails, it will go down swinging.
He has not even formally announced yet, but he has grabbed the third rail of politics with both hands.
Christie has called for major reforms to Medicare and Social Security, including a means test and a higher retirement age.
The speech was meant to jump start a campaign that many have already written off.
We may see how well this plays with voters today.
Christie holds the first of two Town Hall meetings in New Hampshire.
