Gov. Chris Christie continues to lag way behind the GOP field in the latest polls while Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker surges.

The latest surveys show Walker gaining substantial ground against frontrunner Jeb Bush.

In one survey, support for Walker jumped 15 percent, which puts he and Bush almost even.

It is still very early in the process, but Christie has dropped from 10 percent to six percent, and fallen to the back of a very crowded field.

Christie, though, has remained unfazed by the recent numbers.

"I'm not worried about what polls say 21 months before we elect a president."
