Christie campaign continues to struggle
The struggles continue for the floundering presidential campaign of Gov. Chris Christie.
His performance in last week's Fox News Republican debate in Cleveland was praised by the pundits, but he has dropped again in recent polls.
He finds himself in 10th place as the choice of only 10 percent of Iowa residents polled for CNN/ORC and Suffolk University. Donald Trump leads both surveys.
Christie's attention to 2016 run is also wearing thin here in New Jersey.
A majority of residents in an Rutgers-Eagleton poll believe that Christie should step down as governor, but the decision should be his and not forced by the Legislature.
