In their first joint appearance after winning their respective party’s nominations last week, Gov. Chris Christie and Democratic gubernatorial candidate State Sen. Barbara Buono will discuss their candidacies before hundreds of business leaders tomorrow night, June 12, at the New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA) Employer Legislative Committee (ELC) State Dinner.

The State Dinner is hosted by the county Employer Legislative Committees, which were established in 1959 as an affiliate of the NJBIA to bring together business people, legislators and other government leaders to share ideas on the top issues affecting the state economy.

The 2013 ELC Dinner is sponsored by the New Jersey Manufacturers (NJM) Insurance Group. NJM President and CEO Bernie Flynn is the dinner chair.

The event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency on Route 1 in Princeton. The program will begin at approximately 7:00 p.m. Christie and Buono will speak between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
