The Christie Administration's "Season of Service" kicks off another week.  Throughout New Jersey, officials will devote time to various community service events, as well as highlight service opportunities.

"Season of Service" was announced by Governor Chris Christie and First Lady Mary Pat Christie on Thanksgiving Eve.  The initiative was inspired by 8-year-old Burlington Township resident Aidan McManus.

Today, Community Affairs Commissioner Lori Grifa will be in Paterson to volunteer her time at Eva's Village Kitchen at 11am.  At 5pm, Children and Families Commissioner Allison Blake will read to children at Fun with Books and Music at Children's Home Society of NJ in Trenton.
