As if there was ever really any doubt, Gov. Chris Christie said Thursday that he is 'thinking about' a 2016 White House run.

The governor was asked the 'are you running for president' question at his latest town hall in Ocean City.

Christie said it is a very big decision for he and his family, and plans to make an official announcement by the end of this year or in early 2015.

Most believe he has already made up his mind to run, especially as he is ratcheting up a nationwide travel schedule and becoming increasingly critical of President Obama.

On Thursday, Christie hammered the president on everything from immigration to taxes.

He will be back at the Jersey Shore today for a clean water press conference and boardwalk tour in Asbury Park.
