The governor and state Sen. Joe Kyrillos, who's running for U.S. Senate, will greet patrons at a diner in Bordentown Tuesday afternoon.

Christie has promised to appear six times before Election Day with Kyrillos, who trails incumbent Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez by double-digits in polls.

The governor has been in high demand this election season. He's been campaigning across the country for Mitt Romney and for other GOP candidates running for governor or Congress.

Christie campaigned Monday in Connecticut with U.S. Senate candidate Linda McMahon.

Christie also is scheduled to be in New Brunswick to announce an AIDS prevention and treatment grant.
