Chris Christie Talks TV During Town Hall Meeting

Day after day Chris Christie faces questions from New Jersey residents about taxes, pensions and education but one boy lightened the mood with a simpler request: He wanted to know his favorite TV show.

Christie bent over to the boy and replied with his favorite TV station instead — ESPN.

Four-year-old Tommy Zaninelli was picked to ask a question at a town hall meeting in Branchburg Thursday. Audience members had a hearty laugh at the exchange.

Christie then asked the boy what his favorite show was and it turns out that was the governor’s favorite show when he was 4 years old too– “Scooby-Doo.”

Christie was impressed with a great white shark shirt the boy wore and wanted to know where it came from.

Tommy replied simply, “Mom.”
