Chris Christie takes his victory lap

Gov. Chris Christie's political star is on the rise again after he piloted big wins in key states this week as head of the Republican Governor's Association.

He showed he can raise money ($100 million), and also proved he knows to turn that into ballot box wins.

By helping to flip several blue states red, Christie has boosted his national profile as he continues to consider a run for president in 2016.

While he said he is no closer to making that decision, many believe his timetable may be pushed up to capitalize on his Election Day success.
