He had a message for his staff. Christie says he told them that he desperately needs something to do during the day.

"My bigger worry is just about being bored," explains Christie. "You know, I don't do well not doing anything. Their original plan was to give me nothing to do all day Tuesday and I was like, 'You know, that's not gonna work."

The Governor now says he'll work a good part of the day tomorrow and then get some down time before he delivers the speech which is scheduled to begin at 10:30pm and last roughly 20 minutes, so that it can be over before network newscasts at 11pm.

"We're staying with the kids so, you know, they'll be up at 6am, 6:30am like they normally are," says Christie. "If I get up at 6:30 in the morning and I've got nothing to do from 6:30 in the morning until 10:30 when I'm going to give the speech you know, I'll be batty by the time I get up there."

The Governor says he typically listens to music before giving big speeches. Christie has seen Bruce Springsteen in concert over 100 times.   So when asked which artist he might be listening to, what was his answer?

"You know."
