GOP fundraising role takes Chris Christie to Colorado
Gov. Chris Christie (R) has been highly critical of Colorado's pot legalization, blasting the program during our April 'Ask the Governor.'
"Go to Colorado and see if you wanna live there," Christie said. "Headshops popping up on every corner, and people flying in just to get high."
Of course, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper (D) took exception to the comment.
Today, Christie gets a first-hand look at Colorado when he attends a fundraiser for GOP gubernatorial candidate and Hickenlooper opponent, Bob Beauprez, followed by an event with other party leaders.
The visit is part of a 12-state, six week tour for Christie, as part of his role as head of the Republican Governor's Association.
Many have speculated that Christie is also laying the groundwork for a 2016 presidential run.
