China Says Activist Can Apply To Study Abroad [VIDEO]

China is the latest to respond in the diplomatic standoff with the United States over a blind Chinese activist.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry now says that Chen Guangcheng can apply to study overseas.

Chen has been asking that the U.S. help him and his family leave China because he says the situation is "dangerous." Chen, who's being treated at a hospital, says neither American officials nor friends have been allowed to see him.
