It could be the biggest food fight at a college since John Belushi imitated a zit at Faber College.  and it would be really comical if it weren’t so ridiculous.

Students at Richard Stockton College want to get rid of the local Chick-Fil-A because of the CEO Dan Cathy’s statements against same sex marriage.

Chick-Fil-A is a Christian owned company and Cathy, using his right of freedom of speech gave his point of view. Now there are politicians all over the country trying to put the company out of business. Even the Muppets and Berenstain Bears are keeping their distance from Chick-Fil-A

I personally don’t have any problem with same sex marriage but I do have a problem with people trying to shut down a business just because they don’t agree with their point of view. Is Dan Cathy not entitled to his opinion and religious beliefs even if it goes against the grain of the politically correct?

Do we really care about the politics of our food? Should we be doing background checks on all the fast food companies and see where they put their money? Chances are if we did, we’d find something that we don’t agree with and shut them all down, What are their views on gun control? abortion?

Does our food reflect our feelings?  If you’re hungry, would you rather starve that eat at a Chick-Fil-A? I mean, What if they make a really good sandwich?

The best thing about this great country we live in is that we have the freedom of speech, the freedom of religion and the freedom of choice. If you choose not to eat at Chick-Fil-A for any reason, no one is forcing you to. I don’t think you should be forcing anyone else not to.
