Cherry Hill Officer Injured in Crash

A Cherry Hill police officer en-route to a burglary was injured when he crashed his cruiser into a pole Thursday.

Officer Frank Kirsch was responding to a report of a burglary in progress, when his vehicle struck then crashed through an iron fence and stone-support structure on Springdale Road before hitting a utility pole, police say.

Officer Kirsch was treated at Cooper Medical Center for facial lacerations and then released.
