Yesterday morning kicked off New Jersey's 4th annual bear hunt, a six day effort to thin the population. Already there have been protests and an arrest.

Although I've never gone hunting, I'm in total support of it. Especially when you consider there have been bear sightings in all 21 counties now. We took calls yesterday from Jersey residents who were all too familiar with bears, having spotted them up close and personal sometimes in unlikely places.

Kevin, one of our listeners, sent us these pics taken by his wildlife spycam. The ground these bears are enjoying? Kevin's front yard.
