The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office doesn't plan to release teen Kara Lemanowicz's cause of death, a spokesman told New Jersey 101.5 this week.

The incoming high school freshman, set to attennd Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees from died during a soccer team sleepover at a home in Sewell this weekend.

But Prosecutor's Office spokesman Bernie Weisenfeld said because the death is not considered suspicious, as a matter of standard policy, the office doesn't plan to make the cause public.

Community members continued to rally around Lemanowicz's family and loved ones this week. A  GoFundMe.com collection to help pay for funeral expenses had raised more than $47,000 as of late Wednesday night.

Principal Robert Tull said dozens of students came to the school on Labor Day to seek out grief counseling services. More got help the next day, when school returned to session.

"We’re continuing to have counselors at the ready for any students that may have difficulty," he said.

Tull said school officials are being vigilant to look for any other students who need help as Lemanowicz's viewing and burial approach this weekend.
