This is one of those moments that makes you think of all the horrible possibilities that can happen to your food from the time it’s being prepared till the time it reaches you.

What could the manager of a West Virginia Pizza Hut have been thinking when he decided, probably after hours when no one was around, to relieve himself in a kitchen sink instead of using the bathroom?

Putz!

He had to have known that surveillance cameras were watching him. Unless he just didn’t care and wanted to get caught.

The regional manager for six West Virginia Pizza Hut franchises has been flushed from his job after surveillance video captured him peeing in the sink in a food prep area.

The potty behavior was after business hours — but is no less disgusting.

The pizza chain said it was “embarrassed by the actions of this individual” at the restaurant in Kermit, some 85 miles southwest of Charleston.

Dated Jan. 29, the video shows the unnamed manager on a computer before walking over to the metal sink, unzipping his fly and letting loose. Once he finishes, the man turns on the faucet — not to wash his hands, but presumably to “flush” his urine.

The company learned of the video Tuesday and swiftly canned the pee-brain. He reportedly managed five other West Virginia Pizza Hut locations.

The Kermit restaurant was shut down by local health officials.

“Pizza Hut has zero tolerance for violations of our operating standards, and the local owner of the restaurant took immediate action and terminated the employee involved,” the company said in a statement. “While the isolated incident occurred during non-business hours and did not involve any food tampering, we follow strict safety and handling procedures and the restaurant has since been closed. We apologize to our customers of Kermit, West Virginia and those in our system who have been let down by this situation.”

I’m wondering, since he was the regional manager of 5 other locations, if he’s peed in the sinks of each of those as well.

And should the corporations take precautions and close them too.

Could you ever eat in a place where you know the employees may have tampered with the food, or worse!
