NEWARK (AP) -- Anze Kopitar had a goal and two assists, and the defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings beat the New Jersey Devils 3-1 on Monday night at the start of a five-game trip.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Evan Turner had 19 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds, and the Boston Celtics beat the Brooklyn Nets 110-91 on Monday night to snap a three-game losing streak that had dropped them out of playoff position.

Accident in Ewing causes power outages, traffic detours near college

A motor vehicle accident in front of The College of New Jersey in Ewing resulted in loss of power to more than 150 customers as well as traffic detours on county roads through the area early Tuesday morning. No injuries were reported.
