The blizzard has been over for more than a week now. After shoveling off our driveway I stuck this bad boy in what was a snowdrift at the time. It was at the bottom of our walk and the drift was so high you couldn't see the shovel from the street.
All of the Bruce Springsteen talk over the weekend and on yesterday's show had me thinking about the time I saw him perform back in November of 2009. I'm not a big Springsteen fan like Jeff or Joe V are, but I will say his concert was a lot of fun.

There was a settlement in an interesting lawsuit in New Jersey. In Ocean Township, police officer Kathleen J. Delanoy served for 13 years. She became pregnant. Officer Delanoy claimed there was an "unwritten policy" that someone in her situation would be put on light or modified duty. The department had other ideas.
This weekend is Bruce Springsteen's homecoming. He will be performing with the E Street Band at Newark's Prudential Center on Sunday, Jan. 31. Since New Jersey 101.5 is celebrating with a Bruce Springsteen Weekend, Jeff Deminski and Joe Votruba did the honors of kicking it off with a horrible duet of a Springsteen classic.
