Daring young men and women of all ages can learn to use the flying trapeze outside one Atlantic City casino starting next month.

The Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort will offer learn-to-trapeze classes from July 6 through Sept. 2. The casino also will host extreme trampoline shows for the public on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer.

Taj Mahal vice president Kathleen McSweeney says it's part of the resort's campaign to offer new attractions to draw new customers.

The first trapeze class teaches how to get your legs on the bar so that you can release your hands, and a back-flip dismount. The second class teaches students to swing at the same time as an instructor in an opposing trapeze, meet in the middle, and catch wrist-to-wrist.
