Middlesex County prosecutors say 37-year-old Shawn Humphrey of Carteret pleaded guilty Wednesday to a murder charge as part of a plea bargain in the death of 32-year-old Dana Ciccilella. He's scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 7.

Prosecutors say family members found Ciccilella unconscious in the home in March 2011, and Humphrey was arrested the next day at New York's Penn Station. But they have not said what sparked the argument between the pair.
