Carl, Little Nut, Oscar and Cookie need forever homes [NJ Pets of the Week]

NJ101.5 has partnered with local animal rescue organizations EASEL Animal Rescue League and Friends of EMAS (Edison Municipal Animal Shelter) to feature adoptable local pets in need of homes. Help us find these pets homes by sharing this information with family members and friends who may be interested in adopting a shelter pet.

Adopt Carl

Say hello to Carl! He has a beautiful black and white coat with a black tail. He's a very sweet, friendly and playful kitty. He gets along with other cats and kittens. He came into our shelter with his two siblings who were both adopted. Needless to say, he is very lonely and would love for you to take him home and keep him company. He's currently at the PetSmart in Edison on Route 27 where he enjoys greeting everyone who passes by his window. But, what Carl wants most is a loving place and a lap to call his forever home.

Adopt Oscar

Oscar was set loose by his owner who claimed he had eaten garbage and was sick. It turns out he is perfectly healthy, but was obviously starved by his owner. Oscar is very low key and friendly. He's currently in weekly training classes and is learning how to walk on a leash.

Adopt Little Nut

Little Nut is an Australian Cattle mix. His coloring and markings are so magnificent, and it even looks like he is wearing a black mask like the Lone Ranger. Little Nut is full of energy and always ready to go with a happy smile on his face. He would benefit from some training classes and maybe even some agility classes. Little Nut would love someone who likes to take long walks and has a fenced in yard.

Adopt Cookie

Cookie is a beautiful, tiger tabby who is a bit shy, but has come a long way. She's very sweet, loves to be petted and is very interested in what is going on. Once in a patient, calm and loving home she is sure to reach her potential.
